Goldendoodles comes in three sizes small, medium and large (standard). Sometimes there is a fourth size which is the micro or petite. These doodles are hybrids of Poodles and Golden Retrievers, which give the doodle their various sizes. To get the perfect size for a owner the breeder mix and dilute sizes of the parents to get the size they desire. The standards are the largest weighting 50 pounds and up, around 20″ in height. Then there is the mediums, which is a perfect sweet spot, weighting 35-45 pounds, 16-20″ in height. Last is the mini doodles, which are 15-35 pounds, 13-20″ in height. The micro are the smallest of the doodles weighting less than 15 pounds!
